Talent Is A Myth
Talented is what you've been calling someone that's going to be successful or is already successful to make yourself feel better for not doing the work.
Talent is a myth.
Your thoughts that you say out loud, but also the ones you have in your head, create the motives and intentions that you have, which end up shaping your habits. Which, in the end, that's who you become. When you tell someone that they're ‘talented’, you need to reealize that they're not born that way, and you could cultivate that in yourself as well.
You can remind yourself…
“I am a hard worker. I am someone that deserves to be successful I am someone willing to show up on time and do the work without having someone hold my hand. I can be that person if I remind myself of my goals And hold myself accountable to those.”
And if you can't do it yourself, find someone that will do it.
But if you find yourself telling someone, ‘Wow, you're so talented’. All you're doing is taking your friend and diminishing them down to mere excuses for yourself.
